DMC recently rang in fall with an Oktoberfest party at our Chicago office. Oktoberfest parties are somewhat of a tradition at DMC Chicago. DMC Boston took over a few years ago, and last year DMC Denver hosted with lots of brats and mountain views.
Oktoberfest is a great event for visiting with our clients, partners, and their friends in a casual setting at our office. At this year's event, we treated around 200 guests to delicious German-style food and beer and live polka music.
Just Like Munich
We decorated the office and rooftop deck in traditional Bavarian blue and white, and we hung German and Bavarian flags.
Some of our employees even dressed in their very own dirndl and lederhosen.
The atmosphere was so authentically-German, it was almost like we were in Munich!
German-Style Dining
We transformed our main conference room into a beer hall where guests could eat, drink, socialize and watch the Cubs game.
Our buffet included more delicious food than anyone could eat. We served beer brats, German-style potato salad, an apple farrow slaw, super-cheesy spaetzle, and the ever-popular pretzels and beer cheese.
As we chowed down, there was plenty of time to catch up and play games too! Our modified Star Wars Loopin Chewie game even made an appearance. With an upgraded motor and extra spots for more players, it's a regular at DMC happy hours.
Guests also enjoyed sending gumballs through a track on our 3D printed gumball machine at the push of a button.
Oktoberfest on Tap
Following the Oktoberfest theme, we had four different kegs of beer flowing throughout the night.
The ever-popular Oktoberfest beer from Revolution Brewing was a crowd favorite. Everyone enjoyed some Krankshaft Kolsh and cider as well.
Fun and Games
The perfect weather made our rooftop deck a popular hangout spot throughout the night.
Our polka performers, Frank and Fran, joined us on the roof to share some live music.
Even the newest members of the DMC family had a good time. The rooftop fun continued well past sunset.

A Birthday Too!
We also had a birthday to celebrate that night! Frank's daughter Kelsey Riordan, turned 10 years old!
We broke out the birthday cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' with our German polka duo Frank and Fran.
Finally, it was time to blow out the candles.
