As a member of DMC's Embedded team, Jeremy's custom electronics experience includes PCB Design, C/C++ Programming, motor control, data logging, graphics, bootloaders, and more. He has worked with embedded frameworks and libraries like mbed, FreeRTOS, TouchGFX, FatFS, and LWIP. Jeremy also has connectivity experience including Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, CAN, EtherCAT, EthernetIP, and Modbus. He has worked with vision systems like OpenCV, Matrox MIL, and IMAQ. Jeremy's IoT and security experience includes TCP/IP, HTTPS, MQTT, TLS, and more. He is a Certified LabVIEW Embedded Developer.
Some of Jeremy's past projects include Autonomous Robotic Vision System Development, development of an Embedded Autonomous Robot Platform, design of a Web-Enabled Touchscreen Temperature Logging Tablet, and the Aircraft Tire Dynamometer for the US Air Force Landing Gear Test Facility.
Jeremy works in DMC's Chicago office. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a focus on embedded systems. He continued his studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign to complete a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before starting at DMC, Jeremy held internships at Qualcomm, Medtronic, and the Air Force Research Laboratory doing embedded system development and verification. He is a Michigan football fan and also shows unwarranted optimism towards his native Detroit Lions. Jeremy enjoys running, weight lifting, and intramural sports, like soccer and volleyball.
