Zaca Mesa is a winery that frequently hosts tastings and events. To track these events, they added appointments to a shared SharePoint calendar. However, employees associated with each event did not automatically have these appointments appear on their Outlook calendar.
DMC implemented an automated process that checks all SharePoint calendar updates using an Azure cloud service. New events are then automatically added to corresponding employee Outlook calendars.
As a result, communication has improved among employees, and the threat of missing appointments and double booking has been reduced. The success of this project led to continued work with the client including SharePoint business process workflow solutions and general IT support.
