About EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Program
The Entrepreneur of the Year program, founded by Ernst & Young Global (EY), recognizes the work and accomplishments of those who create the products and services that drive our world economy.
The winner is selected by a panel of judges, and according to EY, “It is more than just numbers. [It is] based on a balanced scorecard, awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, risk and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.”
Founded in 1986 in Milwaukee, WI, the program has grown to include more than 145 cities and 60 countries worldwide.
Let Me Be Frank
Frank Riordan built DMC around seven core values that drive our decision-making process and assist in navigating relationships with our clients and partners.
On the topic of why he created DMC, Frank said, “One of my strongest foundational motivations, when I started the company in 1996, was that I wanted to start a company that I wanted to work for even if I didn’t own that.”
