Women In Technology Discuss Diversity and Inclusion Training at DMC Chicago
Anjali Bharadwa, one of DMC's Project Managers on our Digital Workplace Solutions Team, is also co-chair of the Chicago chapter of WIT or Women in Technology. On June 19th, 2019, Anjali will be hosting the next WIT meeting from 4-6 PM at DMC Chicago's office.
This meeting will discuss the topic of diversity and inclusion training in the workplace and choosing if this type of training is right for your office. Theresa Stewart from We Are Colored will talk about what this type of training entails and how to successfully implement it within the workplace. We will discuss what makes diversity and inclusive training effective and the different experiences people have had.
These discussions are a great chance to hear women share their experiences working in technology, ask questions, and network.
What is WIT?
The WIT Network brings professional women together that, "believe in making it easier for women to imagine, begin, and develop a career in IT." Their goals include:
- Building a global community of like-minded women who meet regularly
- Increasing the number of young women pursuing careers in technology
- Growing opportunities for women working at every level of the industry
- Scaling reach to empower women across the world who need it most
Join us for advice on how to prioritize the challenges your organization faces around diversity, what you want to accomplish, and how to create alignment between the two.
