DMC Passes CSIA Recertification
DMC passed its third CSIA audit this month with flying colors. As a member of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA), DMC is required to undergo a third party audit once every three years to maintain certification. The CSIA audit consists of 79 different criteria taken from the CSIA Best Practices & Benchmarks manual.
In the course of our audit preparation, DMC's leadership team and many senior engineers re-examined current processes and best practices, not only to pass the audit, but with the intention to improve DMC as a whole. We consider CSIA certification to be a validation of DMC's commitment to operating our business at the highest level.
As noted on the CSIA website, the Control System Integrators Associate is a "not-for-profit global trade association" that "seeks to enable industries everywhere to have access to low-risk, safe and successful applications of automation technology by advancing the business practices of the system integration industry. CSIA helps its members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry expertise, and promotes best practices for business management."
DMC joined CSIA to learn more about best practices from our integrator peers. We became CSIA Certified in 2009 and re-certified in 2012 and now again in 2015. While the certification process has helped us to validate and improve our existing processes, the presentations and informal meetings at the CSIA conferences continue to prove incredibly valuable in helping us improve our operations.
We’re proud to be CSIA certified and we look forward to continue providing quality integrator services to our clients.
