DMC is heading to Texas!
After previously expanding to the East and West, DMC is now looking South to Houston, Texas. By gaining a presence on the Gulf Coast, DMC hopes to better serve our existing clients throughout Texas and the rest of the southeastern United States as we continue to develop new business partnerships and relationships in the region.
DMC Houston’s office will be located in the Upper Kirby area, very near to Greenway Plaza, Montrose, Midtown, and Rice Village. Though our doors won’t officially open until August we’ve already begun building new relationships and supporting customers throughout the Houston area. I will be relocating from Boston, where I helped establish DMC's first expansion office, to lead the Houston team as its Project Manager.
For me, some of the greatest things about returning to Texas are being closer to family, the warmer winters, lack of a state income tax, kolaches, Texas barbeque, and, of course, the Houston Rodeo.
For all of the DMC engineers joining the Houston team, growing a business in a new market will offer a whole new set of challenges. Everyone will be relied upon to step up and take on a new set of responsibilities, from technical leadership, project management, and building relationships to deep fried cookie dough, Torchy's Tacos, and the Astros.
As a Texas native and one-time Houstonian, I’m thrilled to be leading the Texas expansion effort. We see a lot of potential for growth in the Houston market and are looking forward to working with our great clients and partners in the area!
