DMC Cooks Up Communication at Our All Day Company Meeting
For our recent All Day Company Meeting (ADCM), DMC headed over to Cooking Fools in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood. It's fun day of formulating goals, brainstorming, and teambuilding that has taken us to places like Wrigley Field, laser tag, and on a Ferris Bueller-style tour of Chicago in the past. We started off the morning with breakfast and a few brief presentations on effective sales communication. Then it was time for us to take on the challenge and brainstorm our own sales strategies, as well as some possible improvements to our existing sales model.
From drawing up objectives for cross-selling to crafting elevator pitches, we generated some great ideas and had a lot of laughs before the real fun even started.
After our brainstorms and presentations, we headed downstairs to the kitchen of Cooking Fools to get our hands dirty with some cooking of our own. We broke up into groups of about six and each picked a cooking station to get started at. With pineapple salsa fish tacos, miniature flatbread pizzas, goat cheese stuffed pimentos and more, each group of DMCers made and served a delicious dish to fellow employees.
Staying true to our Core Values, we not only made things happen but we had fun while doing it all.
