DMC Named A Best Place to Work in Chicago by Crain’s

Crain’s Chicago Business Recognizes DMC’s Dedication to Employee Engagement and Development

DMC is proud to be named by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the Top 10 "Best Places to Work" in ChicagoCrain’s highlighted DMC’s strong focus on hiring high-achieving, team-driven employees and fostering employee development through its mentoring and continuous learning initiatives.

DMC was also named the “Best Place for Employee Engagement” by Crain’s, ranking first out of ten companies. The article acknowledges our Chicago office design, which was implemented with company culture in mind featuring an on-site fitness center, rooftop deck, and a kitchen fully stocked with beverages and snacks.

The appeal of working at DMC is cross-generational, as evidenced by its recognition on both Crain’s “Best for Gen-X” and “Best for Millennials” lists. “I’ve been to hundreds of different places, different industries, different technologies, working with lots of different people,” said Project Director Tim Jager who appeared in a Crain’s video feature focusing on Gen-X. “I have yet to find a company where I thought: ‘I would rather work here.’”

The recognition is based on a set of employee and employer surveys in key areas such as benefits, pay levels, career development, management and colleague relationships, and more. Of the 178 companies that applied, 111 completed both surveys. More than 31,000 employees took the survey.

“I’m excited and proud to be named one of Crain’s best places to work,” said DMC President, Frank Riordan. “It validates the work everyone does that makes this a great place to be each day. This recognition will help DMC continue its strong growth by attracting the best and brightest people, aligning with our #1 core value.”

Crain’s Chicago Business "Best Places to Work" issue was released on April 7.
