Our recent outing will definitely be inducted into the DMC Welcome Party Hall of Fame. For my welcome party we took our “talents” to WhirlyBall around the corner from our office. I had heard that WhirlyBall is a DMC favorite and I myself had never tried it, what a perfect opportunity! If I had to sum up the night I’d say we came, we saw, but we definitely did not conquer.
However, in true DMC fashion we stayed true to our sixth core value and we definitely had fun! The turnout was much greater than I expected, and boy did I ever feel welcomed. The night was full of laughs, bar food, beer, and missed shots. It was a great experience to get a chance to share this with my co-workers and also have an opportunity to meet their significant others.
Although I’ve only been at DMC for a few weeks, everyone has done nothing but make me feel welcomed since day one. WhirlyBall on Friday was just the icing on the cake. I want to thank DMC for organizing such a wonderful event for me. I am extremely grateful to have such great co-workers and work for a company like DMC!
