Teams Audio Conferencing: 12 Months Free
The sudden and unexpected transition to a remote workforce in early 2020 forced many businesses to rely more heavily on their cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. Microsoft reported that early on during the pandemic. Teams had over 75 million daily active users, and six months later that number has jumped to 115 million daily active users.
Teams Features
Microsoft Teams offers all its users the ability to chat, schedule video meetings, and screen share with other Teams users both inside and outside of their organizations. These features alone have been invaluable to coworkers who must connect and collaborate while working from home.
Microsoft is aware of the importance of Teams to many of their Office 365 users and has been steadily improving the Teams application with new features each and every month.
Audio Conferencing Offer
Microsoft has now gone a step further and is offering one of their enterprise-level add-ons to SMB users with less than 300 users. Teams users in the SMB space can now add Teams Audio Conferencing to send out a dial-in number along with their meeting invites. So, in addition to being able to join meetings in the Teams app, attendees can now dial in directly from their phone.
Not only is Microsoft making the Teams Audio Conferencing add-on available to Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium users, but they are also offering it free for the next 12 months!
