Location:
Have you ever thought about visiting Denver? What about checking out the coolest engineering office in Downtown Denver? You should do both! We may be bias, but we think our DMC office is pretty groovy, considering we are only steps from Coors Field and located in the heart of downtown Denver. As we sit (or stand) at our desks, we can look out the window to views of beautiful snow capped mountains. When the weather isn't as cold, we enjoy having our lunches together outside on our patio that overlooks the city. Either way, we love our DMC Denver family and would love to share it with you!
We love our office for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is the location. If we walk out of our office doors, the options are endless. If you go to the right, you can catch a glimpse of our National Ballpark Museum, followed by the Rockies stadium. To our left, we have the 16th street mall, Union Station, and countless bars and restaurants.
Attractions and Activities:
This is great when we are thinking of activities for us to do as an office or with our clients. If we want to get away from downtown, we can jump on the highway and head to one of the many ski mountains around. If you aren't a fan of the outdoors, there are always concerts, comedy shows, festivals, etc. The possibilities are endless, and there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Some of our favorite group outings that we have had so far include a pasta making class, paintball tournament, and our most recent adventure, escape rooms for our all day company meeting.
Everyone at DMC Denver has different interests, but we are all open to trying new activities. DMC cultivates enjoying time with your coworkers and getting to know them in a different capacity. One of our favorite traditions is going down to the 16th street mall to play Killer Queen. If you haven't played it, do yourself a favor and try it out with a group. It is incredibly fun and always one of our favorite things to do.
Office Culture
Even with having fun office outings outside of work hours, we incorporate fun into office hours as well! We may do some things differently than other companies, but that is why we love DMC! When you hear the sound of pool balls clanking together, you'll know that some of the team is taking a quick "mental break". We have a pool table in our office to help sustain energy throughout the workday. We even developed an app that records our pool scores, which makes for some healthy competition in the office. You can always expect a game of pool after everyone has had lunch together. Here in Denver, we like to do things together as a group!
