DMC's Digital Workplace Solutions team has led "Dashboard in a Day" Power BI workshops in several cities across the Midwest since 2018. In Quarter 1 of 2020, we will be hosting three of these workshops at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in Chicago from 9am to 5pm on the following dates:
In partnership with Microsoft, DMC is proud to lead these workshops and excited to bring our skills back to Chicago in the new year. The goal of these workshops is to help you understand the capabilities of Power BI and the ways you can effectively analyze your company data.
This Power BI training class provides participants with a better understanding of how to:
- Connect to, import, and transform data from a variety of sources
- Define business rules and KPIs
- Explore data with powerful visualization tools
- Build stunning reports
- Share their dashboards with their team and/or the world
You are encouraged to bring your own data in a CSV or Excel format, along with a laptop, to the workshop. There will be a self-paced, hands-on lab as well as dedicated time enabling you to build reports and dashboards with your data. The DMC instructors are there for support and assistance.
This training is a great opportunity to grow skills and experience working with the Power BI platform. Individuals who are brand new or relatively new to the Power BI platform will benefit the most from attending this workshop. Our instructors will guide you on how to evaluate Power BI's ability to meet organizational requirements around data visualization and analysis, as well as how Power BI can help you be more efficient and make a greater impact on the work you do every day.
