Owen graduated from Purdue with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. He has skills in CAD * Programming languages (C, C++, Python Java) and microcontroller and microcomputer systems. Before DMC he interned at VAST Energy Solutions (a small startup) developing software and fluid flow hardware for an efficient combustor prototype, developed Raspberry Pi programs and documentation as a Purdue TA, and performed data analysis visualization for a small NJ company. His hobbies and interests include photography (taking pictures in his free time with cameras and lenses from over 50 years ago!), reading, computer graphics and rendering, and aviation. Owen pursued a pilots license before COVID and piloted an airplane before an automobile. He still enjoys flying on flight simulators.
